Titanium Racing at the Howard of Effingham School

Titanium Racing consists of a team of year 8 students at the Howard of Effingham School. We have a diverse range of interests in design, engineering, science, and maths which we are channelling into our project, as well as applying new skills in business and finance.

F1 in Schools

F1 in Schools is an international STEM competition for secondary school students, in which small groups students design and manufacture a miniature F1 car using CAD/CAM and CAE design tools, as well as learning the business side of running a Formula 1 team.

Meet the Team

We invite you to meet the Titanium Racing team members.

  • Billy Webber

    Billy W. is the marketing manager for Titanium Racing. His job is to maintain the Website, social media accounts, and to work with corporate sponsors to obtain funding for the project and communicate the team's progress. He brings to the team core skills in programming, maths, and design.

  • Kenan Suleymanli

    Kenan is an F1 fan and the finance manager for Titanium Racing, with a passion for problem-solving and communication. As someone who is good with money, his role is to manage the team's budget so that important items like kit and construction materials can be procured. Kenan solves budgeting problems to keep the team running smoothly.

  • Billy Mills

    Billy M. is an engineer for Titanium Racing. His job is to design and build our team's car. Billy M. enjoys the fun and teamwork of F1 in schools: it's not all about winning.

  • Albie Moss

    Albie is the project manager for Titanium Racing. He is composed and good at motivating people to achieve the team's goals. As a STEM fan, Albie enjoys the mixture of science and real world experience that F1 in Schools provides.

  • Harry Goddard

    Harry is the engineer for Titanium Racing. He is a very musical person, playing in a band called Dystopia, and loves writing music as well as F1. He believes that the team will go far because of its great people.

  • Jake Hartwell

    Jake is the graphic designer for Titanium Racing. His job is to create amazing designs for our team's car including our logo, car livery, and marketing materials. He also produces high quality videos for titanium racings social media. Jake enjoys working as a team and really enjoys F1 in Schools, and knows that winning isn’t everything.
